Coming from the Second To None label an E.P. with 2 tracks plus bonus breaks for double decking / turntablism / etc.

A1 entitled 'Style Wars' utilises the accapella of the same name from the group Hijack. Under the accapella is a loop from 'He's The Greatest Dancer' by Sister Sledge with some serious filter business to give this track a disco feel.

To round it of are some hard b-boy breaks, 'Its The Music' by Magnum, a super rare gem and the classic 'Apachi' but sampled from 'Untitled' by Hardnoise to capture the distinctive e.q. of the break from this record.

The BPM is 117 , pitched at the natural disco tempo of 'He's The Greatest Dancer' rather than killing it by bringing it up to 130+ like so many of the disco classics have been when under going the remix process. With a nice breakbeat intro before dropping into the filter breakdown then the vocal kicking in this track is of the party crossover variety, playable at breakbeat/new skool breaks / hip hop events or b-boy circles.

B1 entitled 'What You Won't Do For Love' is a remix of the soul classic of the same name by Bobby Caldwell. Hip Hop style intro with slow hard breaks and a synth sub-bass with bit of scratching and some time stretch stuff a little like the old skool jungle time stretches. The main horn rift from the original filters in later then into rest of the song with break / bassline overlays with some filtering in and out of the different element and some timestretch mashups to finish of this remix.

A2 & B2 four breaks looped up for about 30 seconds each for double decking , 2 copies needed. The breaks are the obscure funky variety rather than the totally cained heard them everywhere available on sample cd variety.
