One of the best Hip Hop jams to happen in the U.K. ,
D.J.ing by the Imperial Mixers, Graffitti by the Chrome Angelz ,B-Boying by Rock City, London All-Stars , Live To Break , Look Twice , The B-Boys , Breakazoids , GMC plus others.
Held in a large sports hall with a stage erected at one end for the decks and a b-boy stage this was a very authentic jam ,the likes of which was rarley repeated afterwards and displayed a cutting edge in style of all hip hop elements.
Daytime session consisted of a graffitti exhibition by the Chrome Angelz and b-boy shows.
Nightime session was the throwdown, music defeningly loud and provided by the Imperial Mixers, cutting breaks and hip hop.Lights dimmed low and the place packed , break-battles taking place on the floor ,maybee 5 or 6 different circles with b-boys battling it out with complex footwork,1990's ,halos ,pump-headspins etc.The crowd pushing to see. Battles on stage with breakers pulling 30+ headspins,90's ,flares etc and the crowd all blowing whistles at once when a particularly dope move was pulled off.
